24 April – Piling

Good progress has been made with the piling nearly done, 30% of the framing complete and 10% of the panels installed. The time lapse video below shows the first stages of building the solar farm, putting the piles in, then attaching the framing which holds the panels

4 April : First Row of Solar Panels

This week saw the construction of the ‘Golden Row’, the first row of solar panels which is used as a blueprint for the rest of the construction and quality control of the solar farm.  Surveying for pile positions and pile distribution was completed, and piling is now 60% complete.
